Re-Elect Diane Hofstede for Minneapolis City Council Third Ward

Hello! I am Diane Hofstede, city council member for Minneapolis Third Ward. Thank you for stopping by my website!

As a lifelong resident of the 3rd Ward, I have spent the last 28 years as a public servant working on behalf of residents in Minneapolis. I love this city and will work to ensure that all everyone has access to the things that make Minneapolis great.

Priority #1 is the safety of every person in each of our neighborhoods.
I will fight to make city services more efficient, responsive and sustainable.
I will always advocate to ensure our resources are used judiciously and wisely to keep property taxes stable.
I will continue to make needed investments to our multimodal transportation system and our Mississippi Riverfront — both of which are well on their way to becoming the envy of the nation!
So far, I have helped add 1000 units of affordable housing to the 3rd Ward, and we’re only getting started!
I intend to carry on our efforts to restore the job base in Minneapolis — career, livable wage jobs.
