  • Improve neighborhood livability
  • Maintain current funding for our police and fire departments
  • Keep our focus on community policing
• Strategic Economic Development
  • More living-wage jobs with full benefits
  • Promote citizen - neighborhood - business participation
• Transportation
  • Accelerate construction of planned bikeways
  • Fight to maintain local bus service
  • Champion further development of LRT/mass transit option
• Environmental Stewardship
  • Require Green components in all developments
• Third Ward Arts Community
  • Encourage Third Ward-produced art components in all developments
  • Promote participation and patronage of the arts
• Define and implement shared goals with our partners in all levels of government including the University of Minnesota, Hennepin County, Minneapolis Public Schools, Parks, Federal, and the State of Minnesota
• Fiscal Responsibility in order to maintain Core City Services
• Champion Equal Rights for Everyone
