As your Council Member, I will continue to work with you on the issues you have told me are important:

Public Safety and Livability
- Improve neighborhood livability
- Maintain current funding for our police and fire departments
- Keep our focus on community policing
Strategic Economic Development
- More living-wage jobs with full benefits
- Promote citizen - neighborhood - business participation
Transportation
- Accelerate construction of planned bikeways
- Fight to maintain local bus service
- Champion further development of LRT/mass transit option
Environmental Stewardship
- Require Green components in all developments
Third Ward Arts Community
- Encourage Third Ward-produced art components in all developments
- Promote participation and patronage of the arts
Define and implement shared goals with our partners in all levels of government including the University of Minnesota, Hennepin County, Minneapolis Public Schools, Parks, Federal, and the State of Minnesota
Fiscal Responsibility in order to maintain Core City Services
Champion Equal Rights for Everyone
